However, Cecil Beeson was an historian of all things local Blackford County history. He saved obituaries and other historical documents and put them into scrapbooks which (I think) are now in the hands of the Blackford County Historical Society or at the Library in Hartford City, IN. I believe his son also shared the history bug and also kept things. Both are now gone, but fortunately their efforts have provided us with many documents.
