Raymond C. Keller dies Sunday night
Raymond C. Keller, 72 of 326 North Ninth street, will known retired Decatur jewelry store owner, and a lifelong resident of this city, died at 9:05 p.m. Sunday at the Adams county memorial hospital.
Mr. Keller, who had been seriously ill for the past six months, was admitted to the hospital a few hours earlier.
Born in Decatur Aug. 2, 1897, he was a son of Dr. Henry E. and Anna Omlor-Keller, and was married to Miss Agnes Conklin June 6, 1923.
Mr. Keller owned and operated the Keller Jewelry store, 130 North Second street, from 1921 until 1946.
He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic church and the Holy Name society.
Surviving in addition to his wife are one sister, Mrs. Mildred Ehler of Decatur, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary’s Catholic church with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Simeon Schmitt officiating. Burial will be in the Catholic cemetery. Friends may call at the Zwick funeral home after 7 p.m. today until time of the services. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
