Mrs. Casper Miller dies this morning
Mrs. Margaret C. Miller, 68, widow of Casper Miller, and a lifelong resident of the Decatur community, died suddenly of a heart ailment at 7:30 o’clock this morning at her home on Decatur route 4.
Born in Adams county April 5, 1898, she was a daughter of Jacob and Mary Hain-Omlor, and was married to Casper Miller May 27, 1919. Her husband preceded her in death Oct. 26, 1956.
Mrs. Miller was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic church, the Rosary society, Third Order of St. Francis, Catholic Ladies of Columbia, and the St. Anne’s Grandmothers club.
Surviving are three sons, William A. Miller of Monroe, Leo F. Miller of Decatur route 4, and Maurice H. Miller of Decatur; two daughters, Sr. Laverne, C.S.
A., of St. Clair hospital, Monroe, Wis., and Mrs. Lowell (Joan) Hawbaker of Laurel Bay, S.C.; four brothers, Edward, Lawrence and Hubert Omlor all of Decatur and Herman Omlor of Fostoria, O.; two sisters, Mrs. Carl Steigmeyer and Mrs. Fred Ulman, both of Decatur, and 24 grandchildren. Three sisters are decreased.
The body was removed to the Gillig-Doan & Sefton funeral home. Funeral arrangements have not been completed. (3-11-67???)
