Services, Burial to be at Berne

Berne - Funeral services will be conducted here, at a time to be determined for Thurman A. Gottschalk, 69, a native of Berne and an Indiana Democratic Leader for many years, who died yesterday at his Winter home in Miami, Florida, following rites in Indianapolis.
The body is en route to the Flanner-Buchanan Mortuary in Indianapolis. Following services in Indianapolis, it will be brought here to the Yager Funeral Home. Services here will be conducted by the Rev. Karl Tauber, pastor of the Trinity Evangelical United Brethren Church of which Mr. Gottschalk was a member. Burial will be here in the MRE Cemetery.
Mr. Gottschalk also was a member of the Masonic Lodge at Geneva and the Mizpah Shrine at Fort Wayne.
