Lloyd D. Sanquist Craigville - 1924-2001
Lloyd D. Sanquist, 77, of Craigville, a member of American Legion Post 111 in Bluffton, died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2001, at Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana.

The Hines, Mich., native was retired from Hagerman Construction. He was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Bluffton and a World War II Navy veteran Fireman First Class. Surviving are a daughter, Nancy Weis of Fort Wayne; sisters Lulu Voshell of Berne, Lorraine Wahls of Maroa, Ill., and Imogene Pennington of Carbondale, Ill.; brothers Melvin of St. Cloud, Minn., and Spencer of Chicago; and one grandchild. His wife, Esther, preceded him in death. Services are 1 p.m. Monday at Haggard & Sefton Funeral Home, Decatur, with calling one hour before services. Burial will be at Backesto/Spring Hill Cemetery, Berne. Memorials are to Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana.
