Funeral held today for James Ivetich
Funeral services, conducted by the Gillig-Doan & Sefton funeral home, were held at 10 o’clock this morning at St. Mary’s Catholic church for James Ivetich, 76, former resident of this city, who died at 5:45 p.m. Saturday at his home in Richmond.
The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Simeon Schmitt was in charge of the services, and burial was in the Catholic cemetery.
Born in Zagreb, Yugoslavia, June 10, 1891, he became a naturalized citizen after coming to this country. He had resided in Richmond for the past 30 years.
Mrs. Ivetich was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic church and the Holy Name society.
His wife, Helen, preceded him in death May 5, 1945.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Josephine Richardson and Mrs. Anna Womack, both of Decatur, and two grandchildren. (12-23-67)
