Ruth C. Entner, 47, S. Meridian St., Dunkirk, died Monday in Jay County Hospital after a long illness.

She was born Oct. 3, 1944 in Richmond, the daughter of Dr. Charles and L. Frances (Hirschy) Entner. She had lived in Connersville before residing in Dunkirk for 30 years.

She was a client of and was employed at Jay-Randolph Developmental Services, Inc., Portland.
Miss Entner was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dunkirk, had attended Connersville Community Schools and was a member of the Woman’s Christian temperance Union.
She had lived at Shepherds Baptist Ministries in Union Grove, Wis., for a brief period.

Survivors include her mother, L. Frances Entner, Dunkirk; four brothers, John and Paul Entner, both of Kettering, Ohio, James Entner, Phillippines and Donald Entner, Malvern, Pa.; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Services will be held at 1:30 pm Wednesday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. James harris and the Rev. Daniel Gelatt officiating. Burial will be in MRE Cemetery, Berne.

Calling will be from 6 to 9 pm today at Malone Funeral Home, Dunkirk.

Memorials may be sent to the Shepherds Baptist Ministries through the funeral home.
