Olland G. Coolman, 95, Helmer, a native of Geneva, died early today at Sacred Heart Home in Avilla, following an extended illness.

He began working for Naas Foods in 1935 and worked there for more than 45 years. He was a former member of the Portland Moose Lodge.

Born September 14, 1896, he was the son of Jacob and Otha (Scheer) Coolman.

Surviving are one son, John A. Coolman, Houston, Texas; one daughter, Mrs. Keith (Harriet) Crampton, Mesa, Ariz.; two sisters, Mary Hubbard, Fort Wayne and Catherine Downey, New Haven; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Services are set for 11 am Thursday in Baird-Freeman Funeral Home, Portland, with Rev. Mark Strietelmeier officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Geneva.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 8 am until time of services Thursday.
