Looking for info on Hatfield who lived in Joppa, IL

Surnames: Hatfield, Sands, Martin, Baccus, Sands, Smith
I've been at a brick wall for over a year looking for the parents of Achilles (or Axley) Hatfield. He was born around 1820 in Illinois or Kentucky. He married Christina Sands (who is buried in Joppa) in Meade County, Kentucky in 1847. Children are Mansfield, Dorsey, and Isaac Hatfield. They seem to stay along the Ohio river, as they were ship carpenters. Any info or ideas are appreciated!
