Looking for information on James Gallagher and his wife, Annie Whelan, who we know had two daughters named Katy (b.1857-d.1891, married Robert R. Young) and Mary (b.1862-d.1951, married John E. White). We believe there were at least three other daughters, who might have been nuns (Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet in St. Louis, MO).
James died in 1876, both Katy and Mary were born in Kappa, El Paso Township, Woodford, IL. At the time of Mary's marriage in 1890 to John E. White, her marriage license listed her residence as St. Louis, MO.
Looking for any information on this family, no matter how unusual or unrelated sounding it may seem to be, if anyone thinks they might know something, please respond.
