I'm trying to find my aunt's grave, which I believe is in Johnson City (or near), Illinois.

Her name was Catherine Skroko
Born 4/28/1933
Birth Certificate says "baby died" in handwriting and I've been unable to find a death certificate.
Mother was Rose Skroko, no father is listed

Family legend is that she was taken to Johnson City, where the family was from, for burial. Does anyone have suggestions for how I might go about finding cemeteries in or near Johnson City, Illinois to find the child?

You might want to get in touch with the WILLIAMSON COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY in Marion,Illinois (located in the old WILLIAMSON COUNTY jail) as they have books on cemeteries of WILLIAMSON COUNTY. Also you might check with Murman - Wilson funeral home in Johnston City,Illinois as they would be familar with the cemeteries around Johnston City.

Have you found her yet? If not I have books with lists of people buried in the cemeteries in Williamson County. I will look for you, but don't want to spend the time if you have already located her. Where did you get a copy of her birth certificate? Have you checked the Williamson County court house yet?
