I am looking for additional information on Eugene CRATE, who was born in possibly Wilmington, Will, IL about 1857 to 1860. His parents were born in New Jersey. Eugene married Virginia JONES in Will Co. 1881. They were living Wilmington from 1900 to at least 1930. They had two sons: Dan b. 1883 & Irving b. 1892. Dan married Lillian "Lillie" Wheeler.

There was a James & Sarah Crate family living in Wilmington in 1860 with five children; the youngest Charles age 10 months. Wondering if this family has any relationship to Eugene?
