You can contact Marilyn Anderson at the Sterling Library and for a small fee she will send you a copy of the obituary. If you live in Illinois you can order the microfilm of the Sterling Gazette from the Springfield Library through your local library and find the obituary yourself to copy. The microfilm is ordered free through your local library.

You don't have to live in Illinois to borrow the microfilm from the Abraham Lincoln Library. I live in Iowa and I just have to pay for the return postage of the film. Ask you local librarian. Sheila
