Richard,
Thank you for that information. I had not actually found them in the census so it was a pleasent surprise to get your response.
This is indeed one of the families that I have been searching for. The age 7 Albert was my Great Great Grandfather, and Abner my Great Great Great Grandfather.
Albert Served in the Civil War listing Warren County, Berwick as his home. So am sure that they were somewhere in the area for sometime as Albert was age 20 when he joined the War.
Albert's Daughter, Rosetta Jane Charles was born in 1869. I have found a record where Albert married a Rebecca in 1869 in July, Rosetta was born in Iowa. What is unclear, is weather Rebecca was her mother or if Rebecca was a second wife! By 1880 Rosetta was living with an Aunt and Uncle in Iowa, and Albert and Rebecca had two other daughters one born in 1870-1871 and another born in 1979.
Somehow I actually stumbled upon a mass of information from Abner and backwards into England.
My Benson Side however is some what more elusive!
I do again thank you for the information it gives me something more to work with.
