If you still want this obituary, I will try to look it up on my next visit to Mt. Carmel Public Library.

I found a sketchy obit for him at the Mt. Carmel Public Library.

John Filmore Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Crawford Brown was born in Wayne County, IL on February 11, 1875. He died at age 54 on April 19, 1929, in his home at 315 W. 1st Street, following an illness of several years. He leaves a widow, Mrs. Mary Anna Brown and five children to mourn his passing. The children are William Brown, Evansville, Ind.; Stella of Hammond, Ind.; May of Mount Carmel and Golda and Charles at home. There are two surviving sisters: Mrs. Emma McNeiley and Mrs. Lizzie Ferguson. Mr. Brown was a member of the Christian Church. The funeral is to be held at the Short Funeral Hom with interment at Highland Memorial Cemetery.

The obituary may have been small but full of information. I do thank you for taken the time to do this for me. This has helped me out a lot.
