David Grobe wife Peggy was my mom's 1st cousin. He was into genealogy. I never met him but emailed him some. Most of the Turner family history is a collection of a lot of family members. I was the Tripp Family reunion genealogist for some years. The link is about our Turner's and it may be true they were in South Carolina as were the Tripp family. So they may have been neighbors. I have not gone past William Turner in Union Co IL. I will get back with you I have worked on Turner family all day adding photos to folders etc.
