I'm looking for an obit for Clara Haines Rouse Harmon. She was b. 1864 in Lucas Co., IA and d. 7 Jan 1951 in Toulon, Stark Co., IL. Burial was in Snareville Cem. I'm hopeful this is the Clara Haines who is missing from our family tree. Parents are Jacob Haines and Mariah [Miller] Haines. Clara is the 9th of their 12 children.

According to a family tree found on this site, Clara m1 Francis Emory Rouse in 1882 in Stark Co., and m2 Thomas Wesley Harmon in 1902 in Stark Co. Based on an obit from another Haines family member, it is possible that Clara had a 3rd marriage to a man named Wright.

MRS. CLARA HARMON

Bradford - Funeral services for Mrs. Clara HARMON, who died Saturday at the Hamm nursing home near Elmira, will be held at the Marsh and Dunlap funeral home, Bradford, at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
Rev. Donald Wood, pastor of the Bradford Baptist church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Snareville cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel this afternoon.
Mrs. Harmon was born in Lucas, Iowa, June 12, 1864. She was preceded by her husband, nine sisters and two brothers.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lillian Loudenburg of Canova, S. Dak., and Mrs. Bert Frey, of Toulon.

Hi. Clara Haines Rouse Harmon was my great-great grandmother. She lived with her daughter (my great grandmother, Fern Frey, until her death. She did not marry a third time.
