I'm searching for info regarding my grandfather James William Fleming born in Castleton Il Stark county on 6 April 1892. There is some confusion regarding his parents. His obituary lists them as Edward and Nettie Fleming, but I'm having trouble finding any records. James William Fleming was married to Marie Knoerle of Lacon Il on 18 August 1924 and they had 3 sons, James Knoerle (my father), Samuel and William. James William also had a sister who went my Hazel and was born in approx 1894 and was married to a JP Balmes of Peoria. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

This links to a biography on Fred H. Fleming of Stark co., IL - While I could not find a direct link to the people you mention, his father was said to be Samuel Fleming. Since you mention a Samuel, my first thought was that perhpas Samuel is a family name and there might be a connection.
