That index was done in 1999, and he's not there, if it's strictly alphabetical order. I was hoping somebody'd done something more recently, and been able to dig up something else for me. He had to have been somewhere that year! I know that as a minister, he could have been traveling on church business and have just plain gotten missed on the day the census enumerator was canvasing his neighborhood. But I cannot find him ANYWHERE at all in Ancestry or any other index I'm aware of. He's not in Heritage Quest, for instance. That's why I was hoping somebody closer to the county where I know he lived might be able to help.
