Ephriam Gillmore was said to be living in Sangamon Cty, Ill in 1846. Ephriam's brother was William. When William's wife Jane (Nesbit) Gillmore died after giving birth to Henryetta in 1846 and the baby died 2 days after - William took the other three children - John b. 1841, Ephriam Bradley b. 1843 and Jane b. 1845 to live with his brother Ephriam Gillmore. William Gillmore never came back to his children. I am trying to find descendants of Ephriam and William along with their parents (it is said they are from Kentucky) and the parents of Jane Nesbit. William and Jane were married in 1840. William Gillmore (Gilmore) is my GG Grandfather. William was a Army soldier at Ft. Martin Scott Army Base, Gillespie Cty, TX in 1850. This is the last known residence. It is said that he lived in Texas and had another family during the time his son Ephriam Bradley Gillmore was getting married 12-25-1867 in Pike Cty, Ill. It is said that William's brother, Ephriam raised horses in Sangamon Cty, Ill.
