Olive Y. Burdinsky, 80, of Springfield died Friday at St. John's Hospital. She was born March 29, 1915, in Breckenridge, the daughter of Leucien and Rose Bell Young. She married Carl L. Burdinsky in 1949; he died in 1987. Mrs. Burdinsky had been a resident of Springfield since 1939. She was employed by Allis Chalmers and later by the state.
Survivors: a sister, Pearl Easley of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services: 2 p.m. Tuesday, Staab Funeral Home, with Charles Lee officiating. Burial: Oak Ridge Cemetery.
