Helen L Brust



Springfield - Helen L Brust, 84, of Springfield died Saturday,

Nov 21, 1998, at Walnut Ridge.



She was born May 13, 1914 in Auburn, the daughter of George

and Pearl Landers Barnard. She married Charles Hayes in 1930

in Springfield; he died in 1945. She later married Royal

Brust in 1959 in Chicago; he died in 1978.



Mrs. Brust was employed with Drs. Walter Shriner, Philip

Haggerty and Richard Suhs for 10 years, retiring in 1978.

She was a member of VFW Post 10302 Auxiliary, Hal Hagler

Chapter 15 DAV Auxiliary and was a resident of Springfield

for most of her life.



Survivors: a sister, Nellie Watts of Springfield; and several

nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.



Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday, Vancil Memorial Funeral Chapel,

with Dr Ben Wilkins officiating.



Burial: Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
