Lost: My husbands relatives by the name of William G. Coulter,Wilson Beeney, William Beeney. Need dates of birth, deaths and marriages. Coulter came to Rock Island Countyy about 1853 and died 1854. Wilson Beeney came about 1855 and nothing more is known. William Beeney died about 1856 and William T. Beeney died in the Civil War in 1862. Anyone have any info on the above? Greatly appreciate hearing from you.

Thanks

Carol

My grandfather's name was William BEENEY b. 14 MAY 1896 in Tilsonberg, Canada. He died 02 FEB 1964 in Flint, Michigan where, like my father, Jack BEENEY, I too was born. Which might be of some help is that my grandfather had (at least) two brothers...Edgar and Clarence BEENEY. Edgar was born in Georgetown, Canada and Clarence in Turtle Creek, Canada. I know there was a sister because I have evidence of a brother-in-law named, James PATON.

If you, or anyone else who reads this, know(s) of any further information...please respond as soon as possible.

Thank you and Good Luck!

Hi,
I wish this was the right Beeney line. I'm just starting to get into my family history. I am a distant relative to the Carol Coulter (from original post). Our direct decendant is Jane Ann Beeney b. 1846 in England. Her parents were Isabel & William Beeney. Jane Ann married William J. Coulter 10 May 1865. She died 11 June 1913. Does any of this sound familiar? I'm not sure who the Wilson was that Carol talks about. He may have been Jane Ann's grandfather? William & Isabel Beeney were my ggg-grandparents.
