Searching for info. on the family of John L. Holloway/Halloway born 1833 Tn. & wife Amanda J. born ca. 1834 who are found in 1870 Pope Co. with children: Wm. D. 18, Burton M. 16, Sarah M. 14, John N., 7, Viola 4, Sterling age 0. In 1880 census they have children: John 18, Viola 14, Sterling 11, Charley 9, James C. 2, Edwin P. 1. The son Edwin Pryor was born 29 May 1879 and married Bertha ____ca. 1906 and they are found in 1910 Pope Co. and 1920 Johnson Co., Ill. In 1920 they had two sons one being Glenn born ca. 1908.

I was at Spring Valley Cemetery, just south of Eddyville, the other day and there were a lot of Holloway's buried there. I'm sorry, I don't remember who they all were, but maybe that is at least a place to start.
