I would like any information about James (Jim) M.Olivers marriage to Mary Arnold in the mid 1890s. Also my grand father John W. Henleys marriage to Marindy Wells.I dont know the date.I believe they married either in 1880s or early 1890s. Thanks for any help. James M Oliver Jr.

There was a John W. Hednley that married a Maranda Wells on Aug 1st 1886 in Pope Co. ILL.

The spelling is a little different but, this is probably your people. Sharon

Regardless of the diferance in spelling of the last name John W. Henley is my grand father I am sure he is the one who married my grand mother Marindy Wells and their daughter married my father James M.Oliver SR in Hopkins County KY. on Feb-4-1921.My mother died in April of 1928.I have the information on my grand mother and mother but I had nothing on my fathers first marrage or my grand father Mr. Henley untill you good people came through for me Iwill fore ever be indebted to all. My g-farher was John William Henley and he married Marindy Wells and my mother their daughter was Mildred May Henley born Sept 8 1888 in Polk County IL.She died April 13 -1928 in Hopkins county KY.She had a Half brother named Archie Henley. I have just got back in the search and need all the help I can get. JIm Oliver
