I am searching for any information regarding Franklin W. Rideout and Anna Deemer who moved to Piatt Co., Illinois shortly after their marriage in Freemont, Sandusky Co. or Seneca Co., Ohio on 27 Dec 1866. Anna died 21 Jul 1887 in Tuscola, Douglas Co. Illinois. I believe they had at least two sons, Edward (1867-?) and William Jacob (14 Jan 1869-?). William married Mary Lavina Hadlock in Freeport, Stephenson Co., Illinois in 1892. Thank you.

Deemer is not my direct roots but Elizabeth Hartzell Deemer I believe she's the sister of my Anna Maria Hartzell Wagner (1812-1849).

The children of Franklin W. Rideout did leave Ohio. I do not have info on all children however I have this.

I have one and a half very yellowed legal pages of listed info on the Deemers which we believe was typed by my husbands g-grandmother. She was Susie(Ward)Brown, daughter of Emaline(Deemer)Ward, the child of Michael Deemer. Michael was one of 7 boys and 2 girls, one of the brothers of Jacob. There is NO date on the pages and minimal dates have been provided in the body. However, it does provide locations which we think might have been where they were living at the time of its creation.
