Henry Kerker Sr. (born c. 1852 IL) married Catherine Barthel (May 1855 – 2/26/1915; ) on 11/27/1875 in Champaign IL. They lived in Peoria IL. They had 11 children.

* Katherine Kerker (6/28/1880? – 3/11/1947; ) first married Daniel Hiner (Feb 1870 – 9/14/1905; ). She later married Walter Matthias (4/12/1885 – 4/16/1951; )
* John H. Kerker (8/6/1878 – 7/29/1956; ) married Agnes Bremer (1884 – 1954; ) in 1902
* Frank Kerker (3/11/1880? – 6/19/1931; ) married Grace Stewart

I don't have all the complete dates for several of these folks. This is the family in 1880: And in 1900: Notice in 1900 that the mom is "Jane" instead of Catherine but it confirms that she had 11 children; she is listed as widowed, and since we have one child born in 1894, the father Henry must have died sometime between 1894 – 1900. This is the marriage record of Henry Kerker and Catherine Barthel in 1875: However, one thing to throw it off, Henry J. Kerker (born c. 1853) is shown living with his son in 1920: so maybe Henry and Catherine were actually divorced and she just listed herself as widowed in 1900? If this is correct, maybe henry moved to Los Angeles for a while in the 1890s before coming back to Illinois?:

Katherine was born c. 1877 per the 1880 census, but her death record say she was born in 1880: I imagine 1877 is closed to the truth because of the 1880 census (confusing a 3-year old for a newborn is quite a feat), and the 1900 census for Kate Hiner shows June 1877 as well: I don't see her in 1910 and 1920 after Daniel died to compare. In 1930 as Katherine Matthias she is born c. 1883: and same thing in 1940:

I am told that John had an obit published in the Metamora Herald on 8/3/1956 (Metamora IL is a suburb of Peoria), if anyone can access that?

Frank's wife Grace Stewart was born Dec 1883 in Ohio if this is her in the 1900 census: but it says she was born c. 1884 in Iowa per the 1910 census: This is possibly her in California in 1940 after Frank died (here she was born Ohio): If so, this was probably her death in Nov 1975: and memorial:

Louis died fairly young, and was not married as far as I know. He was apparently misidentified as Louise in the death notice of sister Katherine Matthias.

Anna Jeppson was alive in 1953 per her brother Henry's obit. She appears to have been married prior to John. In 1920 there is an Anna Raymond (born c. 1884) married to a Charles Raymond with several children: and in 1930 there is an Anna Raymond (born c. 1883) married to a Charles Raymond with a son Stanley Raymond (born c. 1917): and in 1940 there is a Hannah Jepson (born c. 1883) married to John Jepson with a son Staley Raymon (born c. 1917): Certainly seems plausible enough that they are the same Anna. John Jepson appears to have had a previous marriage of his own to an Alice as seen in 1930: and this should be her memorial:

Pauline Kasson had died by 1947 per the death notice of her sister Katherine Matthias. I do not know the first name of her husband, and only knew her married name from that death notice. This could be her having moved to New York state:

The five youngest siblings seem to be fairly well confirmed, so I really have nothing to add about them.

I have obits for Katherine and Walter Matthias from local Chicago papers, and one for the younger Henry Joe Kerker from the Peoria Journal; I do not have obits for most of these folks, so I would appreciate if anyone can find obits for Henry Sr and Catherine Kerker, Daniel Hiner, John and Agnes Kerker, Frank and Grace Kerker, Louis Kerker, Anna and John Jeppson, Pauline Kasson, Mayme and Charles Breinenstein, Elizabeth and Joseph Kirk, Sadie and Patrick O'Hare, Vesta Kerker, Maggie / Retta and Lester Immel. I imagine most of those could be found in the Peoria paper.
