I found ggrandchildren of Hamilton Shouse in Shelbyville, MO

Bill Shouse and Donald Lee and Elva Marita Smoot of Bethel, MO.

Charles Lee was their father, William is grandfather. They are not into genealogy. They just could tell me that Hamilton came from KY.

You might contact Chet Buchanan chetbuchanan@gbis.com

He had a contact, Lonnie Fink , who told him that Hamilton's parents were Abraham and Frances Pritchett.

Good luck in searching.

Gail

Clark,

What a great day this is for me!! Why do you know so much about the Lewrights and I don't. Bertha Lewright is my great grandmother, I knew she had two sisters Mary and Maud and I knew she had a brother but no name until tonight ! You also have birth years that I don't.

John P Sinclair and Mary Ann Fisher are my 3rd great grandparents. I don't know who thier parents were nor thier history, do you? All I know about them is that they married Apr 20 1858, Montgomery Co. and had Amanda Sinclair. I have her being born in 1859, the same year as this William R. Sinclair. I know nothing of John P Sinclairs previous marriages. I think you are much more of a help to me, than I to you.

How do you fit in? You are a Sinclair, is John P Sinclair your ancester?

Feel free to e-mail

I am the g-granddaughter of Daniel and Lavinia Sinclair Rogers of Montgomery County, Illinois. I just stated to research the Rogers family and discovered your message at Ancestry.com. I knew my grandparents, William and Clara (2nd wife) Rogers, well. We visited Litchfield many times and I either met or know of many of those you mentioned. I wish to share with you my knowledge and learn some more about some of my Sinclair relatives. Please contact me at buckeye-59@hotmail.com. Elizabeth R. Dixon

Hi Clark Sinclair,

My ggg grandmother was Mary Ann Dabbs Fisher Sinclair. The William R. Sinclair you refer to should be William R. Fisher, son of Mary Ann and first husband, Reuben Fisher (1826-1856). Please email me at skauge@gvtel.com

Thanks,
Dianne
