Seeking information on the parents of Daniel and any other information on this family. Daniel was my gg grandfather. I am at a dead end on him.
Daniel and Minerva are in the 1850 census for Montgomery County IL with one son Rubin age 2. Minerva's family is listed on the lines above them. In 1861, Minerva is in Laclede County MO, a widow with three sons. Her family is also in Laclede County at this time.

In 1862, Minerva marries Francis Marion Atchley who lives in Laclede County but they go to Jefferson County IL to get married. Why? Is this where Daniel died or had they lived there?

Some info says that Minerva's second son Samuel was born in 1853 in Frankfort, Will County IL. This is near Chicago. Would they have moved here or is the info incorrect?

No location for the birth of third son Daniel Ewin except March 11, 1855, IL Could this be where Daniel was born?
