I am searching for information on Ed (Edward?) Bartels 1882-1884 in IL. I have found him in the 1900 US Census for Walshville, IL listed as the grandson living with an Edward Kline (born 1835 in Germany) and with a William Kline born in 1877 in IL (Son of Edward Kline). I also know Ed Bartels was living in Walshville, IL per the 1920 Census with his wife Augusta (maiden name Schnackel sp?) and sons Theodore and Harry. I also have a draft registration card from WW1 1917-1918 showing him in the Jacksonville State Mental Hospital in Jacksonville, IL. I am unsure of his death date or where he is buried. There is a record of death in the Illinois Statewide Death Index for 1926 that may be him.
I am trying to find the parents or siblings of Ed Bartels and where he was prior to the 1900 Census. If anyone has any information, it would be appreciated.
