My wife is descended from this line of Carrs in Illinois. Please let me know of any connections, corrections, insights, or ideas on where to dig up more info on the following people:

--Joseph B. Carr
born 21 March, 1752, Prince William or Augusta Co., Va. (now Hardy Co., W.Va.)
married Priscilla Shook, 23 May, 1779, in Virginia.
lived in Hampshire Co., Va., in 1782.
appears on federal census for Randolph and St. Clair cos., Ill. (maybe he owned land in both counties or the county line went through his property?) by 1810.
was a veteran of the Revolutionary War
died 6 March, 1817 near Turkey Hill community in St. Clair Co.
buried in Carr Cemetery, today near Belleville. That cemetery was destroyed, I believe by development recently.

--Conrad Carr
born 22 Apr. 1783 in Hampshire Co. (?), Va.
married Margaret Philips, 1803, in St. Clair Co.
lived in St. Clair Co., including a community called High Prairie, for the rest of his life.
died 7 Feb., 1857, in St. Clair Co., grave site not known.

--Benjamin P. Carr
born 8 March, 1817, St. Clair Co.
married Sarah Tate 3 Sept., 1840, in St. Clair Co.
died 4 May, 1861, in Renault, Ill.

--William Carr
born Oct., 1842, St. Clair Co.
married Julia Safrona Boyer (widow of John Walker), 29 Oct., 1878, in Prairie du Rocher, Ill.
I have a short bio of he and Julia that says he worked on steamboats with his brother at Sycamore Landing, Ill.
lived in St. Clair, Randolph, and Pulaski Cos.
died 6 Dec., 1910, in Mounds, Ill.

--Thomas Wellington Carr
born 9 Feb., 1885 in Prairie du Rocher.
married Agnes Kettle, 9 Jan., 1912 in Charleston, Mo.
died 6 June, 1965, in Charleston.
