BOSTON, Ill. - Keith Frieden, 61, of New
BOSTON, Ill., died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2000, at the University Hospital and Clinics in
Iowa City. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the Geo M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home in Muscatine.
Services will be held at the
Faith Chapel in Muscatine. The Rev. Ron
Yohe will officiate. Burial will be at the
Drury Reynolds Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bill Frieden,
Matt Frieden, Mike Frieden,
Nate Frieden, Greg
Lair and Wayne
Tompkins. Honorary Pallbearers will be
Josh,
Jake, Tom and
Matt (Freddy). A luncheon will follow services at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home.
Visitation will be at the Geo M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home in Muscatine. Memorials may be made to the
Faith Chapel in his memory.
Mr. Frieden was born on Aug. 11, 1939, in Eliza Township, the son of Lester H. and
Blanche Terrill Frieden. He married Nancy
Snyder on June 12, 1959, in Muscatine.
He was a member of the
Faith Chapel in Muscatine. He was founder of Frieden Excavating. He was a farmer in the New
BOSTON area. He loved God, his family, church, farming and excavating.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy, of New Boston; four sons, Bill Frieden and his wife, Traci, of New
BOSTON,
Matt and his wife, Sue and Mike and his wife, Christine, all of Joy, Ill., and
Nate, at home; three daughters, Laura
Lair and her husband, Greg, of New
BOSTON, Deb
Tompkins and her husband, Wayne, of New
BOSTON, and Joni at home; 11 grandchildren,
Josh and his finance, Kelly,
Jake, Tom,
Matt, Randi, Ashley, Tyler, Emily, Jordan, and Whitley; his father, Lester of Eliza, Ill.; two brothers,
Wilbur of New
BOSTON and Randy of
Aledo, Ill.; and two sisters, Florence Sell and Alta
Turner, both of Eliza.
He was preceded in death by his mother, a brother, in infancy, and a sister, Lois.
