Her stepson, Lee McMeekin is living in Orion, IL and may have some information if you are not already in touch with him. I have her obituary which may have further information. Thank you for your posting. I would love to have more information on the McMeekin family, and those who married into the family. My mother is dying, and one thing I have told her I am doing is to try and find some of her family in Illinois. (She is only 64 but suffers liver failure from diabietes.) Donald Eugene, Jeff, Doug, Jim, and Diana Marie. I show the name of Baker in this family as well. My connection is to the Jones family from the Rock island, Mercer County, Sheffield, Coal Valley area. The Jones married into the Harris family, and hence the Mckeekan family.
