Looking for information about a publication from McLean County entitled The Lens, published around the turn of the nineteenth century. I don't know if it was associated with a newspaper or stood alone. Looking for a series of letters written by Francis Wheelock about his travels to California published around 1901-3 that the Lens published. Wheelock later published his letters in pamphlet form, but don't know the title. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
