I just returned from McLean Co. and specifically the Genealogical & Historical Library in Lexington, IL. They use to publish a newsletter called Ancestors: Yours and Mine. In the February 1981 issue (Vol 7, Number 1) there was a piece printed called "Personal Property McLean Co., IL 1867 - Money Creek Twp." There were 169 residents listed; the wealthest --Jesse Trimmer -- valued at $8,437.00 and at the other end of the scale, James Arbogast with $20. Your ancestor had already past by this time, but there were other Busick's listed: Henry with $229.00, William $67.00, Cynthia $50.00, Francis M. $22.00, and Joshua $159.00.

Have you since located his burial spot? I too am related to Bus(z)ick's: Elias and Arthur who married sisters Elizabeth and Martha Barnard --- who also lived in Money Creek.
