Hello:
Need help getting information on any Hallisay, members who lived in Dunham. I believe the family has died out,and all should be buried in or near the local Catholic church. Interested in Julia and Jerimaih Hallisay, and Bridget Kinney, their daughter.

thanks

Was Bridget born in 1852? I believe a bridget Hallisay from dunham may have appeared in my relatives home during the 1880 census. The Sweeney Merchant was there with his daughter, many of the O'Brien's and yet Bridget Hallisay. She was much the mystery woman in the home. If she was born in 1852, can you tell me about her? Thanks!

Hello,

I know that they were two Bridget Hallicey's in Dunham around that period. One was born 1850,the other 1852.She could have been a cousin or servant. The other was married or the daughter of Jerimiah Hallicey.
If I remember correct, she did adopt a child, when she married.I had to search the census by the town, because the name Hallicey was spelled different so many times and ways.
