It's been 20 years since this happened. I was living in Brimfield at the time and working with the girls' mom. It seems like there had been rain that day and that the accident may have been attributed to hydroplane or similar road conditions, not easy for an experienced driver, let alone a less experienced one. I can't say with certainty. But, even today, it is hard to believe it happened. What I remember besides the shock of it all was the funeral and all the little league outfits as the youngsters came into the church. Surreal. Then, at the graveyard, it seems like they released balloons and just moments later it began to sprinkle and rain - tears from heaven mingling with those here below...? I moved out of the area about a year later but was incredibly encouraged by the family's strength, no doubt a testament to God's goodness in sustaining them in the unimaginable!
