Also am looking for the ancestors and descendants of Henry McDaniel and Everline J. McGregory. They also were married in Massac Co., Ill 13 Aug 1869. I believe the two McDaniel men were brothers and may have been Indian.

Elevius Burwell filed final bill for divorce in Massac Co. May term 1871. His wife Nancy Ann (no maiden name) did not appear (for the 3rd time).
Elevius was md. the 3rd time to Elizabeth (Daniel)Reathbaum in McCracken Co. KY on 5th Jan 1871. (Date of divorce and mg. are correct). He was farmer, res. was Massac Co., age 48, b. IN, mother b. NY.
Elizabeth was b. McCracken Co., KY, res. Paducah, KY, age 23, third mg. for her.
Elevius died in Massac Co. 15 July 1876. Heirs were widow, Elizabeth; and children, George W., Mildridge McDaniel, Sarah Jane, Julia, and Elvisla (probably misspelled). He had no property, but had a library worth $5.
Julia md.John O. Romine in Massac Co. 13 Aug 1872.
Elizabeth J. the widow, md. Isaac Laird 3 June 1877 in Massac Co. She had a total of 13 children by at least 2 husbands. Do not think any belonged to Elevius. She died in Johnson Co., IL 5 Mar 1904. Buried at Belknap. She would have been a step mother to Mildridge Burwell McDaniel.

William Franklin McDaniel is my great grandfather. I have a copy of his obituary from the newspaper. I also have a picture of the funeral marker marking his grave. He died Aug. 1 1942 and was buried Aug. 3 1942 in Vincent Cemetery. It's close to Campbell MO in Dunklin Co. His wife was Deltha Snider and her parents were Jacob 'Jake' and Nancy Blake Snider. Have a picture of them. Also have a picture of Frank, Deltha, and some of the kids. Have a picture of Frank(age 5) with his mother Martha Abigail, his grandmother Hannah Greathouse, and his sister Ettie. Also in the picture is Abigail's sister Sarah and Sarah's husband, Frank's half sisters Lizzie, Ellen, and Letitia, and a girl by the name of Jane Reed. Frank and Deltha had 7 children. William Allen McDaniel (my grandfather), Alvin Thomas McDaniel, Pansy Alva McDaniel, Calvin Stanley McDaniel, Lois McDaniel, James Franklin McDaniel (Barlow-he was adopted out after Deltha's death), and William 'Bill' Charles McDaniel (Busch-he was adopted out after Deltha's death). The older ones were old enough to be on their own after Deltha's death. Lois was placed with a relative. Out of all 7 children Lois is the only one living. She resides in California. When my grandmother passed away she left me some pictures. One of them says it is a picture of McDaniel relations. But I have no idea who they are.
