DEATH
SUMMONS SP&S TRAINMAN
Funeral services for Harold
Baysinger, 61, Wishram, were held in The Dalles Feb. 12. Burial was in the
Odd Fellows cemetery there. Until his recent retirement he had worked as a trainman for the SP&S railroad at Wishram since 1943.
He was born April 27, 1897 in
Illinois and has followed railroad since he was only 14. He was a member of the
Baptist church and
Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen. After a long illness he died Feb. 9 in a hospital in The Dalles.
He is survived by his widow, Florence, of Wishram whom he married in 1945, and his father and brother
Dick, both of Centralia, Ill.

Bingen and Wishram are small communities in
Klickitat County, in southern WA. State on the
Columbia River. The Dalles is in
Wasco County,
Oregon, also on the
Columbia River.
