I'm hoping someone can help me locate records for the marriage of my great-aunt, Isabel Hardy (we always called her Belle), to 'Plute' Brannon. This was his nickname, obviously. Aunt Belle was 5 years old in the 1920 Marion County Census-she later fudge her age. They were married and divorced in the 1930s, I believe. She later married Gilford Morris. Oddly enough, Gilford never knew of her first marriage. Plute had at least one sister. At her brother's Andy Hardy's funeral in Centralia, Plute's sister came up to Aunt Belle and Belle pretended she did not know her. It was a small town, so was always very curious to us how it was kept a secret. Any information on their marriage and divorce would be greatly appreciated. Aunt Belle used to use a crystal ball and tarot cards and tell fortunes for people. She was so accurate, it caused a rift with her mother, Frances 'Fanny' Hardy who demanded she stop. She predicted her own death at a young age to within 3 days of its occurence in the 1980s. I'm told a church bell used to ring in Centralia when a death occured, and Aunt Belle was always right on that and other life predictions for people. She received people's jewelry and other items for her services if they did not have money. My grandpa, also her brother, was Warren Hardy. He maried Mabel Wilson in 1926.
