Don't remember "Shorty's" given name either. He was a butcher at Stedlin's and later Aut's market. Owned a big, black 49 cad in which he committed suicide by running a hose from the tailpipe through the rear window one night. This was in the early 50's. I worked with shorty and liked him a lot.
