Minnie Wagner was 15 years old in July, 1923, when she was working at a munitions factory, possibly located in East Alton. The factory blew up and she was killed. I'm looking for any information about the explosion and about her. We know where she is buried and who her parents are, but we don't know where she was living or anything about the work she was doing. At one point we did find her last name was spelled Waggoner, but it was really Wagner, and her middle name was May.
