I am interested in any information on David (1772-1836) and Susan (1780-1850) McNiel. They came from Scotland and were in Alton, Madison County, Illinois by 1835. they had the following children

I am looking for information on Kathryn Wilson m. Berney Smith. She was born abt. 1923, died 1986 in CA. Ethel Wilson ( a sister to Kathryn Wilson) m. a Wilson and lived in Alton, Madison County, IL. Her children were Helen, Carol, and probably three more. John and Henry Smith were brothers to Berney Smith and both lived in Madison County

I have a Henry Smith married to Keziah edwards in Madison Cty 1835. Edwardsville I think. Is he brother of Berny and John? Mary

I have a David Simms born 1820/21 and died 5 March 1870 in Alton, Illinois. He was married to Sarah unknown. Their child was Henry Alfred Simms born 1 Feb 1847 in Alton. He is my great great maternal grandfather. I have additional info. I can't give any info on David's parents but would appreciated any you might have. Given names include: Elsie (child), Esther (Millen), Charles M, Julia, Mary (infant), Theodore (infant), and Thomas, Thomas (Millen), Thomas (child), Thomas (infant).
