This is a request for help finding where the Catholic archives are held for Madison county IL
Jacob Harmann and Laura A Busch were married in Madison county IL on 7 March 1841.
They were almost certainly married in a Catholic ceremony, so I would appreciate any help locating the Catholic archives for this period.
Thank you
Judy

Each church has its on records. My guess was
either St. Boniface or St. Mary's Church. Do
you possibly know which one it was?

These 2 are churches in the Edwardsville area.

Thank you so much for the information.
Googleing the churches: It seems that St Mary's is the older church, and though it didn't have a building until 1843 it was a functioning church. Also one church is Alton is old enough for an 1841 marriage.
Springfield Archives apparently has filmed the records, so I think I will see if they have what I need
Thank you again
Judy
