I did find the FAG entry for Elizabeth "Lizzie" Schwerfeger Fricke's death in 1883 in Wichita. You should look at the vital records for Sedgwick County. She might have died before death records were being used.
You can look up local genealogical and historical societies and see if they have her death notice in a local newspaper.
