How do I go about finding out how my great-grandmother, Florence Baker, of Bloomington, Il was placed in this facility. She had a husband, Frank Baker, and two daughters: Ruby Julia Margaret Baker and Lena Rachel Baker. Once Florence Baker was admitted, ??1923?? (my understanding she was burned badly prior to her placement at Lincoln State School and Colony) Frank placed their girls in the Baby Fold in Bloomington, IL (that would be Lena) and (Ruby at the Girl's Industrial Home in Bloomington, IL) . She was later transferred to Jacksonville State Hospital (Letter from Lincoln State Hospital dated Nov. 27, 1923 stated she was suffering of unsound mind). I would like to have her files while she was in this facility.
