Am looking or information on Charles Frank Wrobleski. WWI Draft Registration shows he was a laborer at Pontiac State Reformatory. It is unclear if he was an inmate or an employee. Charles was born in 1895 in New York....parents names unknown. Also unknown when he came to live in Illinois. Other then the 1917 WWI Draft Registration next record is of the birth of his children in 1925, 1927 and 1928. Charles was married to Goldie Grout, date and place unknown. Goldie's parents were from the south side of Chicago (102nd and Emerald). 1930 census shows Charles and Goldie living at 122nd Wallace with their three children. Goldie died 26 June
1931. 1940 census shows the three children in St. Hedwisgs Orphanage, Niles, IL. Hoping the reformatory records will have the name of Charles parents.
