My grt John Davis and his father ,Edmund Davis were ministers there in that church.
Edmund was married to Lucinda Gilmore/Gilmere, I cann`t find out thru the cemt. listed for Jasper,Edwards,Crawford or Richland counties to where he was buried I was told he died may 1881 but none of the counties have him listed.So I was wondering maybe they are buried in a church cemt. They moved to Lawrence co.IL in time for the census for 1870, and were still there in that county in 1880 census. I dont know when Lucinda died,or maybe married again being she would have been 59 when Edmund died ,,that is IF he died in 1881. Thier dau. Laura married in july 1881 in Bond twp. to Harvey Nuttle Baldwin. I am also trying to find out who Edmund and Lucinda`s parents are. Suppose to have been also born in Ky. around Frankfort area in Ky.
