The divorce papers confirmed that William Sr and Ann (my great grandparents) had 2 sons, William John Jr (who is my grandfather), and Frank Edward who moved to New Jersey.

William John Jr is the one I was initially researching. He was born and lived in Forest Lake and then married Jennie Wasleske from Wisconsin between 1906 and 1916, but I dont know if they were married in Forest Lake or Wisconsin.

They then lived in Forest Lake and both their children were born in Highland Park in 1917 and 1919.

They divorced some time between 1920 and 1930 but again, I dont know if that was in Illinois or Wisconsin.

Jennie went back to Wisconsin and William Jr lived the rest of his life alone in Forest Lake, except for a few years when his mother Ann lived with him.

So close yet so far. ;)
