I don't know if the cemetery would have the information. It is possible, but they often won't provide information to non-family members. You might try them. The number is searchable on the web.

In the 1987 obit for William, George was living in Rockford. Have you searched that area for info as well?

If I get a chance, I can try and search the paper directly for an obit through microfilm although the Genealogy Society is very good about clipping the obits daily. But, you never know!
